Rogers Baby Grand (SOLD)
A 1935 Rogers 5ft Baby Grand Piano with high quality Fiddleback Mahogany case, considered to be one of the finest veneers used on piano cabinets. The tone is soft and pure sounding and the touch is light to medium, responsive and dynamic for its age, really nice to play and ideal for any level of player. Rogers are a top British piano manufacturer with a long standing reputable name in the industry, with pianos renowned for their quality components, easy of play, and smooth clear tone.
The casing was completely stripped back and then restored to new in a easy to clean and maintain Satin finish, when enhances the Fiddleback Mahogany grain and is a neutral tone of wood that suits any style of room. The internal works have been reconditioned to their original standard and piano is regulated and tuned to Concert Pitch. The brassworks are refinished to a mirror shine and due to its compact size is very neat for all types of room including small rooms. The legs are unusual and don't have a wheel, which gives the piano a better style and overall stability. We have re-padded the pedal section for smooth silent movement. Overall a wonderful compact Baby Grand piano that is aesthetically pleasing and great sounding.
