Restored Eavestaff
The instrument was built in 1957 by Harry and Percy Brasted, both manufacturing high quality pianos since 1925. The tone is rounded, acoustic, and pure sounding, and the touch is medium, very responsive, really nice to play and ideal for any level of player. Eavestaff by Brasted are a top British piano manufacturer with a long standing reputable name in the industry, with pianos renowned for their durabiltiy, easy of play, and resistence to climate change. The keyboard is finished in Ivorite, which was designed as a substitute to ivory. The internal action is newly restored, including new tapes and refaced hammers.
The casing was completely stripped back and then restored to new in a easy to clean and maintain Satin finish, when enhances the grain and is a neutral tone of wood that suits any style of room. The brassworks are refinished to a mirror shine and due to its compact size is very neat for all types of room including small rooms in apartmants. We have re-padded the pedal section for smooth silent movement. A superb acoustic piano of the highest quality, like new, and with a great tonal range.
