A good quality Burr Walnut Veneer JJ Hopkinson who are a well respected British manufacturer. The piano has a perfect set of ivory keys that are nicely weighted and responsive, with a light to medium touch. The tone is rounded, pure and resonant, typical of a mellow sounding Hopkinson, with long strings and large soundboard for volume and presence when required. Recently French polished by hand and brass refinished. Reconditioned and tuned. Ideal for a beginner, but could see you through the grades if needed.
